The two major Premier League derbies on Sunday didn’t disappoint.

Firstly, we were treated to a six-goal thriller at the Emirates Stadium as Arsenal overcame Tottenham Hotspur 4-2.

Then Liverpool defeated Everton with the help of a late clanger from Jordan Pickford.

The Toffees were on the verge of securing a valuable point at Anfield when the England goalkeeper attempted to flick Virgil van Dijk’s shot over the bar.

He proceeded in only bringing the ball back into the play, though, and Divock Origi was waiting to put it into the back of the net.

The scenes that followed were incredible. Anfield erupted and Jurgen Klopp came sprinting onto the pitch.

Everton haven’t won at Anfield since 1999 and their fans must be wondering when they will eventually taste glory at the home of their rivals.

Fabinho's wife mocks Everton

Thankfully, the journey home wasn’t a long one. But they had to deal with the taunts of thousands of Liverpool fans before they could leave.

And that included Rebeca Tavares, the wife of midfielder Fabinho.

Tavares has become a popular figure among Liverpool supporters, wasting no time in becoming part of the club’s fanbase.

And she mocked Everton fans on Instagram at full-time.

It’s easy to see why Liverpool fans love her already.

Fabinho impressed

Tavares had just watched her husband produce another solid performance at the heart of midfield.

Per Paul Joyce of The Times, the Brazilian - who arrived in a £43.7 million deal from Monaco in the summer - made the most tackles (six) and covered the most distance (11.4 kilometres) of any Liverpool player against Everton.

The Liverpool Echo rated his performance as eight out of 10, writing: “Very lively in the first quarter and put in some timely challenges as Everton came into the game towards the break.

“Easily his best game for the club.”

With a vitally important game against Napoli in the Champions League to come, followed by a hectic Christmas schedule, Liverpool fans can only hope that Fabinho continues to impress.
