In years gone by Arsenal would have been very happy with a point at Manchester United.
But not on Wednesday night. Unai Emery's men headed into the game having thrashed Tottenham 4-2 just two days before and faced a United side struggling for form.
Everyone's money was on an Arsenal win, but poor defending from the Gunners - not to mention some dodgy refereeing - cost them all three points.
Shkodran Mustafi opened the scoring in the 26th minute with a header that David de Gea made a complete mess of, but four minutes later United were level through Anthony Martial.
Martial went to ground far too easily under a challenge from Matteo Guendouzi to win a free-kick just outside the box, which Marcos Rojo took.
Bernd Leno made a smart save to parry the ball away, but Arsenal failed to deal with Ander Herrera's resulting cross and Martial fired home.
Replays showed Herrera was offside from Rojo's free-kick, though, and had VAR been in use the goal would have been ruled out.
Arsenal then retook the lead in the 65th minute thanks to a Rojo own goal but conceded a second equaliser just 13 seconds after the restart.
Nemanja Matic's hoof to Romelu Lukaku fell to Sead Kolasinac, who tried to poke the ball back to Leno but put it straight into Jesse Lingard's path to make it 2-2.
Kolasinac's face said it all - the Bosnian was having a fine game at left wing-back, especially going forward, but one lapse in concentration proved costly.
Emery was asked in his post-match interview if he was "frustrated" by the draw and the manner of which his side conceded both goals, but he gave a superb response involving Kolasinac.
"Not frustrated," the Spaniard responded, per BT Sport. "For example, he (Kolasinac) was coming at the end of the match with his head looking down.
"I said to him, 'Sead, you had a very good match and offensively you gave us a lot of chances. It can happen, but you need to continue, be positive and learn with this action.'"
Class. Kolasinac needed a pick-me-up after his mistake and that's exactly what he got from his manager, who is making a huge impression among Arsenal fans.
Here's how they've been reacting to Emery's comments, with many expressing their love and admiration for him.
