“He’s gonna smash them all. Believe me when I say that,” stated Hearn.

“He’s gonna absolutely destroy Deontay Wilder and I believe he also knocks out Tyson Fury. You will get these fights.”

Strong words from Eddie Hearn, which provoked a lively response on social media, with fans almost unanimously agreeing that Joshua would struggle against both Wilder and Fury.

The balance of the heavyweight division is certainly hanging in the balance, with many now believing that Joshua needs to start fighting the very best in the world to prove that he is amongst the very elite of British boxers.

Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder would have something to say about that, though, for sure.
