With five Drivers' Championships to his name, there is no doubt that British motor racing sensation Lewis Hamilton is going to go down as one of the all-time greats of Formula One.
He will forever be mentioned in the same breath as such legends as Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher, among others.
While Hamilton can already rest easy in the knowledge that he is an F1 great, and easily the best of his generation, he will never allow himself to rest on his laurels and will always strive to improve his driving further still.
At the age of 33, you would expect that the Brit driver would be at his peak, with very little room for improvement.
However, he has now confirmed that he has asked everyone at Mercedes to email him his biggest weaknesses during the pre-season break, so that he can improve on them for the coming seasons.
Hamilton was speaking at a Hewlett-Packard team sponsored event, when he shared, as per The Express: "I asked my team to send me an email from several different departments, asked them to be blunt.
"They don’t even need to tell me who the email’s from, just tell me the things [they] think I can improve on."
He added: "If there’s been a certain experience this year you felt that could be better or something I’ve said that’s swayed the energy within the team. Because I’m looking to be the all-time great and that means winning in all areas."
It is so impressive to see that someone who is at the top of their sport and is regarded as one of the best ever, is still looking for ways to improve themselves further.
This shows exactly why Lewis Hamilton is the best and shows those younger drivers coming through that you should always be looking to better yourself.
Do not be surprised if number six comes next year.
