Mohamed Salah produced a masterclass of a performance as Liverpool beat Bournemouth 4-0 at the Vitality Stadium.

The Egyptian looked like the player of last season as he grabbed a hat-trick as Liverpool went back to the top of the Premier League.

Salah’s first came after Asmir Begovic could only parry Roberto Firmino’s speculative effort.

His second was better as he stayed on his feet despite Steve Cook’s nasty tackle to fire into the far corner to make it 2-0.

A cook own-goal wrapped up the three points but Salah wasn’t finished.

He was put through by Adam Lallana, rounded Begovic, took his time and tapped the ball home.

Three goals, three points and the Man of the Match award.

Apart from Salah refused to accept the award during the post-match interview on Sky Sports.

It was James Milner’s task to hand over the accolade but Salah decided to give it back to his teammate, who was making his 500th Premier League appearance.

"I have to congratulate him for his amazing career. I hope I have more games like this in my career. But I will not take it [the award from Milner],” Salah explained.

Beautiful.

Now that’s class.

Earlier in the interview, Milner had paid tribute to Salah and dubbed his display as “unbelievable.”

Salah’s three goals have now put him level with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the top of the Premier League goalscoring charts.

Not bad for a “one-season wonder.”

Salah will now be hoping to help his side progress to the Champions League last-16.

Liverpool need to win either 1-0 or by two clear goals in order to get through the group.

Another hat-trick from Salah would be very welcome indeed.
