Ousmane Dembele & Frenkie de Jong's Instagram interaction after Espanyol 0-4 Barcelona

Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele

Barcelona are now three points clear at the top of the La Liga table.

After a last-minute 1-1 draw against title rivals Atletico Madrid two weeks back, the Blaugrana have reeled off two much-needed wins in succession.

Ernesto Valverde's side saw off Villarreal 2-0 last weekend and followed that up with an emphatic 4-0 win over local rivals Espanyol last night.

Lionel Messi scored two free-kicks, with Ousmane Dembele and Luis Suarez notching the other goals.

It was a very complete performance from the Blaugrana, with Arturo Vidal impressing once again in midfield.

Philippe Coutinho had to make do with a place on the bench, with Dembele starring once again in attack.

The Frenchman appears to have turned a corner and his Instagram activity after the win has delighted Barca fans.

Dembele decided to comment the Blaugrana colours under Frenkie de Jong's latest post.

One Barca fan noticed that De Jong actually liked the comment from Dembele.

Do Dembele and De Jong know something that we don't?

The Ajax midfielder is the most sought-after young player in world football right now after starring in the Eredivise and with the Dutch national team.

De Jong has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City as well, but perhaps the move to Barca could be happening after all.

In a recent interview with the Guardian, De Jong stated his admiration for Barcelona and spoke about Messi's greatness.

De Jong with Ajax

“I love this [Barcelona] style," De Jong said. "Get the ball back quickly, then play possession with so many combinations. When you watch that, you get the feeling you want to go out on the pitch and play football with your friends and just enjoy yourself. City and Barcelona are great examples.”

The Mirror reported last night that Pep Guardiola was furious that City have allowed PSG to steal in and sign De Jong for £66m.

However, his interaction with Dembele certainly suggests Barca have a big part to play in his future.
