The declining product of Monday Night Raw is painfully obvious to see, and there's a few reasons that can be attributed to why things have gotten really bad.

The unfortunate absence of Roman Reigns is bad, but it's more-so a deficiency in booking top babyface stars in that they look continuously weak.

Take Finn Balor for example, who came to Raw in 2016 and won the Universal Championship straight away, yet since returning from injury he hasn't done anything of note, despite the fans still being keen to see him succeed.

With Braun Strowman still healing from surgery, the top babyfaces on Monday nights now are Balor, Seth Rollins, and newly-turned Elias and Dolph Ziggler - compared to SmackDown the talent pool is frighteningly low for the time they're on air every week.

One superstar who could have achieved so much more in his time on the main roster is currently inactive - Bray Wyatt.

Since the quiet break-up of his partnership with Matt Hardy, Wyatt has been off television, but made a surprise appearance at the Starrcade live event a few weeks ago to face Raw GM Baron Corbin.

Many forget that Wyatt actually had a brief run with the WWE Championship in early 2017, such was the insignificance of the reign - in essence he was just a placeholder to give the title to Randy Orton at WrestleMania 33.

The reaction to a stare-down with Triple H at the 2016 Royal Rumble suggested that he could be a top-level face down the line, but as of right now it's not happened yet.

However, Wyatt's latest actions on Twitter suggest he could be about to return to television with a completely rebooted character.

The Eater of Worlds has deleted all previous tweets and sent an ominous message to his followers in the process.

With Wyatt facing Corbin at a previous live event, does this mean he will return to fight with Balor and Elias in their continuing clashes with Corbin on Monday nights?

And hardy WWE fans will remember a few years back Wyatt was hinted at taking down the authority with his 'down with the machine' shirt that was released for public consumption, so maybe he will come back with a clear goal to take down Corbin.

All of this is just speculation for now, but it could spice up the red brand no end should the New Face of Fear make a triumphant comeback.
