Kingsley Coman has played for three of the world's biggest clubs in his short spell as a professional footballer.

Starting off his career with Paris Saint-Germain, Coman would appear four times for the French giants before moving to Juventus.

After impressing on a loan spell with Bayern Munich, he made the permanent move to the Bundesliga outfit in 2017.

Still only 22, Coman is one of the world's most talented youngsters and he could potentially turn into a Ballon d'Or winner.

However, 2018 has not been kind at all to the French youngster.

Coman was a key part in Bayern side's last season, featuring 33 times for the club and scoring seven times.

But his season was disrupted by an ankle injury sustained in February, which required surgery.

His period on the sidelines lasted two and a half months, and he only returned for Bayern's last game of the 2017/18 season.

Coman managed to fight back and reestablish himself in Bayern's first team, only to go down with another ankle injury in August.

Once again, Coman required surgery, and his period on the sidelines lasted four months.

He recently returned and has featured in both of Bayern's games in December; against Werder Bremen and Nurnberg.

But the injuries seem to have taken it's toll.

In a recent interview with TF1, per footballitalia.net, Coman revealed how it had been a tough 2018 and hinted that he will retire if he has to undergo more surgery.

“I wouldn’t go through with a third operation. I’ve had enough of them,” he said.

“If my foot isn’t made for this life then it means that I’ll have another, more anonymous one.

“It’s been a very difficult year. The world fell on me when I got injured the first time. I hope I don’t have to relive what I had to go through.

“If that happens then it means I’m not made for this level.”

That's just heartbreaking.

At 22 years old, Coman has had an extremely rough time with injuries.

His turmoil in 2018 means he's missed 34 games for his club in the calendar year.

The injury also ruined any chance he had of representing his country in the Russia World Cup.

Let's just hope his injury problems are behind him and he can get back to impressing on the pitch.
