Everton managed to score a 96th minute goal to snatch a point against Watford on Sunday night.

The Merseyside club took the lead through Richarlison after just 15 minutes.

But two quick-fire second-half goals from Watford meant it looked as if all three points would be going back with the visitors.

But Lucas Digne fired a superb free-kick with just seconds remaining to ensure the two sides shared the spoils.

Everton will be relieved that they managed to score a late goal, especially after their heartbreaking loss against Liverpool the week prior.

Divock Origi settled the Merseyside derby after emerging from the bench to head home in the 96th minute.

A Liverpool fan could not resist making fun of Everton after Digne's goal and they did so with a hilarious video.

@George___Owen wrote on Twitter: "Even though it's Everton, you have to take your hat off and appreciate this goal. Last minute, absolutely incredible."

Accompanied with the text appeared to be a video of Digne striking home his terrific free-kick.

But, just as Digne was about to strike the ball, the video quickly changes to Origi heading past Pickford in the goal that won them the Merseyside derby.

To be fair, it makes some quality viewing. Watch the video below:

Whether intentional or not, it's also worth noting that the game clocks match perfectly.

The clip of Digne's free-kick cuts off at 95:06, the exact time the clip of Origi's goal takes over.

Many Liverpool fans shared their delight of the video.

Twitter user @xmn_k commented that the creator of the video was a genius.

While others simply could not contain their laughter.

Regardless of the video created by the Liverpool fan, Digne's free-kick was special and you can watch it below:
