Finn Balor certainly hasn't had it easy since he made it to the main roster in WWE.

Although the Irishman had an initial monster push upon making it to Raw and won the Universal title at SummerSlam against Seth Rollins, he suffered a bad shoulder injury in that very match and was forced to relinquish the title the next night.

We wouldn't see Balor again for around eight months and he's never quite been held in title contention since.

He's had a slew of feuds that haven't really amounted to anything and his latest with Drew McIntyre surely only serves to put the Scottish Psychopath over.

It's no secret that Vince McMahon is super high on McIntyre and he is in the midst of a super push that is set to culminate at WrestleMania 35.

As part of this budding rivalry, Balor was attacked backstage by the former NXT champion last week on Raw and, according to McIntyre, those injuries kept the Demon away from the Red Brand this week.

Interestingly, Balor was also sent home last week half-way through a tour of South America.

However, according to PWInsider, Balor isn't injured or even working hurt. The Irishman has an illness that has put him out of action and he was rested from Raw as a precaution.

While it was serious enough for Balor to miss a week's worth of action, he is still fully expected to meet McIntyre at TLC on Sunday.

Of course, last year it was Bray Wyatt who had to pull out of his match with Balor at TLC because of illness and fans never got to see Sister Abigail versus The Demon - for better or worse.

AJ Styles stepped in to fill the void and give fans the battle of the two former Bullet Club leaders, a match that Balor would win.

Of course, he would lose clean to Kane the very next night on Raw to instantly lose that momentum, but who knows if he can get the job done on Sunday against McIntyre.
