The Champions League group stage is over; now it’s time to look ahead to the knockout rounds.
We’ve reached the point in the club competition where the best carry on and the others are either sent into the Europa League or discarded from European football altogether.
The draw for the last 16 will be made on Monday and it promises to produce some entertaining clashes.
The sides that finished second in their groups, including Liverpool and Atletico Madrid, will realise that there are opportunities for a favourable draw.
No team will be overly frightened by Real Madrid, who lost home and away to CSKA Moscow, while Juventus also showed they can be beaten with losses to Manchester United and Young Boys.
It’s Porto, though, who represent the easiest draw for any side that was the runner-up in its group.
Not since 2014-15 have the Portuguese outfit reached the quarter-final of the Champions League.

And yet, it’s Porto who would sit top of an overall Champions League table.
Sergio Conceicao’s side went unbeaten in Group D, winning five matches.
They certainly made the most of a comfortable group.
Bayern Munich would be second, Barcelona third and Manchester City fourth.
