Saying Liverpool fans are chuffed with their summer signings would be quite the understatement.

In a bid to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League and gun for another Champions League run, the Reds heavily invested this summer and their business has been remarkably shrewd.

The obvious talking point is Alisson Becker, the Brazilian goalkeeper who has replaced Loris Karius and has already won several points for Liverpool with his shot-stopping.

Then, of course, there is Xherdan Shaqiri who is looking to be more of a bargain with every performance and is a brilliant reserve option for the front three.

Finally, there is the midfield duo of Fabinho and Naby Keita who are really starting to impress at Liverpool after a tough introduction to English football.

Impressive summer signings

Keita is beginning to show the type of energy and invention that made him such an exciting purchase in the first place, while Fabinho has now adapted to the change in style with Liverpool.

As a result, Liverpool supporters are often seen calling for both midfielders to start and are disappointed when the likes of Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum start in their place.

Despite their calls, though, seeing both Fabinho and Keita together has been rare, although their chemistry in the Bournemouth win certainly looked promising.

And now three months into their respective spells on Merseyside, there have been plenty of moments for fans to get their teeth into.

That considered, one Liverpool fan has taken it upon themselves to make a compilation video showcasing both players' highlights so far this season.

Displaying some of the most exciting moments from both Fabinho and Keita, it's accompanied by the caption: 'Both should be starting together majority of our games now.'

Make your own mind up about that by watching the videos below:

They're just perfect for a Jurgen Klopp team, aren't they?

Plenty of summer signings fail to adjust because of the Premier League's fast pace, but both Keita and Fabinho are suited perfectly to that style and are unquestionably settled.

Whether or not playing both of them gives Liverpool the right balance is for Klopp to decide, yet the footage suggests it really wouldn't be the worst idea.

If nothing else, though, Liverpool should consider themselves blessed to have as many midfield options as they do and that's all without the injured Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

When asked about opportunities for both players earlier in December, Klopp explained: “Naby already played really well for us at the start of the season.

“It was a surprise that it worked so well so quickly but then he was injured and hasn’t played a lot since then. But Fabinho had three, four, five games in which he mostly played well, so that is all really good.”
