Real Madrid have been struggling this season with a plethora of results going against them in La Liga - most notably a 3-0 defeat to Eibar.

Los Galacticos are sitting fourth in the table at the moment and have a number of disgruntled players unhappy with the situation at the club.

One player in particular who has been seriously underperforming is Isco. The 26-year-old has only scored one goal in 11 La Liga appearances - with only five starts - and for the most part has seemed rather uninterested this season.

The Spaniard's morale and overall attitude has caught the eye of a particular Barcelona legend, who believes if motivated Isco could be a great player for the Catalan side.

Rivaldo - who scored 130 goals in 235 games for the club - has given his thoughts on a potential agreement between the two clubs for Isco, but understands the complications that would arise between the two bitter rivals.

"He is an excellent player and I think both the club and the player could do with it." Rivaldo told Betfair, per FourFourTwo.

"Anyway, it is a complicated proposal, it is difficult to imagine two great rivals negotiating the transfer of a player."

Rivaldo also commented on Isco's dispute with the Real Madrid fans which has been ongoing for a significant amount of time now.

Most recently, Isco was visibly frustrated after Madrid fans whistled their players leaving the pitch after an unforgivable 3-0 defeat to CSKA Moscow.

"He was on the radar of the fans. You have to look forward and forget about this whole situation."

With the amount of backlash Luis Figo got for making the switch from Barcelona to Real Madrid, would it be the wisest decision for the attacking midfielder?
