Khalil Mack's season with the Chicago Bears keeps getting better and better as he puts together a year that's worthy of winning the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award.Mack helped the Chicago Bears pick up an impressive 24-17 win against the Green Bay Packers in Week 15 at Soldier Field. As a result of the win, the Bears moved to a 10-4 record and clinched the NFC North division title for the first time since the 2010 season, and they'll finish no lower than fourth in the playoff seedings later on this season.Mack did his bit to help Chicago win throughout the game, as he picked up six total tackles in the game, including two tackles for a loss and 2.5 sacks. One of his sacks on Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers came in a rather unique manner during the second quarter of the game.Mack was chasing down Rodgers when he was forced backward by the Packers offensive lineman blocking him. However, the block and the defender's own momentum caused him to sack the Packers quarterback with his back.In the end, Mack was credited with half a sack on this play, as he split it with Bears defensive end Bilal Nichols.

The Bears were able to carry this momentum as a team throughout the game, never losing the lead. Their defense also stopped Rodgers from throwing a passing touchdown.

The victory means Mack and the Bears have won seven of their last eight games and have more wins this season than they had over the past two seasons combined (8-24 record from 2016-2017).

Mack now has 12.5 sacks on the season, which is more than what his previous team, the Oakland Raiders, has across the entire year.

The Bears will now aim to achieve a first-round bye in the plays and pick up another win when they play against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 16.
