2018's losing Superbowl finalists the New England Patriots visited the Pittsburgh Steelers this past Sunday, knowing a loss could put them in the uncharacteristic position of being at risk of not making the playoffs.Having not lost more than four games in a regular season for eight years now, a loss to the Steelers would have snapped that record, on top of a second defeat in succession following last weeks loss at the Miami Dolphins.A win would have sealed the AFC East division title as well following the Dolphins' crushing defeat away to the Vikings - but they failed to capitalise. The Pats were never ahead once in the game, going into the second quarter level at 7-7, but an Antonio Brown touchdown put the wheels in motion for the Steelers. And despite Stephen Gostkowski converting a field goal in the third, the Steelers' Chris Boswell converted one of his own with less than three minutes remaining for a 17-10 victory. The result dropped the Patriots to third seed in the AFC in the process, and with just two games to go in the regular season there's every chance they could drop out should the Bills or Jets shock them at home.Arguably though one good thing came out of the defeat - the special teams proved they are a cut above anyone else in the league. When the Patriots had to punt the ball back down the field after a failed offensive move in the second quarter, no-one could quite believe what happened next. After Ryan Allen's kick was left by Steelers return specialist Ryan Switzer, the ball looked almost certainly like it was heading into the end zone, meaning the Steelers would start from the 20-yard line.Jonathan Jones and Rex Burkhead had other ideas though.Jones used all the speed and athleticism he had to sprint and then dive for the ball before it landed, scooping it backwards to Burkhead, who knocked it back for Ramon Humber to claim and make sure the Steelers would restart from their one-yard line.

It was simply incredible and had to be seen to be believed.

And it was so good fans and pundits alike from around the globe were in awe - some calling it the play of the whole season.
