Luis Suarez has been a star figure for Barcelona since joining from Liverpool in 2014, there’s no doubt about that.

The Uruguayan has bagged an impressive 163 goals in 218 appearances for the club, including 11 this season.

Only team-mate Lionel Messi has a better scoring record in La Liga this campaign.

However, Suarez celebrates his 32nd birthday next month, meaning the end of the tunnel could be nearing.

That said, it’s no surprise that the La Liga toppers are looking beyond the forward as he enters the latter stages of his career.

In fact, Barcelona have named seven young talents who could arrive in the Nou Camp to fill Suarez’s boots, according to The Daily Mail.

Kasper Dolberg - Ajax

21-year-old Ajax striker Kasper Dolberg is reportedly leading the line of potential arrivals.

The youngster has bagged six league goals this season to add to his impressive first two seasons at the Johan Cruyff Arena.

Dolberg netted 23 goals in 47 games during his debut season but could only manage nine the following year.

The forward is back in scoring form this time around though and Barcelona will be hoping to capture his signature in the near future.

Timo Werner – RB Leipzig

Timo Werner, who is a year older than Dolberg, is already on double figures for the season.

The German has rustled the net 10 times, including two braces in his last three league games.

It comes as no surprise that he is on Barcelona’s radar considering his tally in recent years.

Werner netted 21 Bundesliga goals in his debut season at the club and then bagged 13 the following campaign.

The lad is on fire.

Maxi Gomez – Celta Vigo

Fellow Uruguayan Maxi Gomez is also one Barcelona have been watching of late.

The 22-year-old is impressing yet again this season having bagged eight in the league already, only three less than Suarez.

The pair have also assisted four goals too.

It seems this guy could well be the next Suarez.

Krzysztof Piatek – Genoa

Polish striker Krzysztof Piatek is another one Barcelona are keeping tabs on after hitting the ground running since joining Genoa in the summer.

The 23-year-old is currently the league’s top scorer with 12 to his name, one more than a certain Cristiano Ronaldo.

Luka Jovic – Eintracht Frankfurt (On loan from Benfica)

20-year-old Luka Jovic is another goal machine that Barca are looking to sign.

He’s scored 10 this season for Frankfurt, one off top scorer Paco Alcacer, bettering the eight he scored in his first loan spell at the club last year.

Nicolas Pepe – Lille

With 12 goals in 18 appearances this season, it’s no surprise that the Spanish giants are chasing Pepe.

In fact, the forward is Ligue 1’s top scorer, alongside Emiliano Sala and Kylian Mbappe.

One more goal and the 23-year-old equals his tally for last campaign where he bagged 13 in his debut season at Lille.

Andre Silva – Sevilla (On loan from AC Milan)

The final youngster Barcelona are reportedly keeping an eye on is AC Milan forward Andre Silva.

The 23-year-old made a name for himself in last year’s Europa League, finding the net on six occasions for AC Milan.

Fast forward to this season and Silva is becoming a proven La Liga goalscorer, bagging eight goals in 15 league games for Sevilla, three off Suarez's tally.

A player definitely on the rise, that’s for sure.
