After weeks of badly received Monday Night Raw episodes by the fans, WWE announced that Vince McMahon would personally shake things up and appear on this week's episode.Sure enough, at the top of the show, Vince did appear in the middle of the ring for his big announcement, but he also asked Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, and Shane McMahon to join him in the ring too. With his family by his side, the WWE Chairman made his big announcement, but it hasn't been well received by some fans.Vince revealed that his big announcement would be that himself, Stephanie, Shane, and Triple H would be taking full control of both Raw and SmackDown as a collective authority and would book in accordance to the wishes of the WWE fans.As a result, the announcement hasn't gone down well with some WWE fans, as they believe it's just more of the same of what they were previously receiving on Raw.

In terms of the show following Vince's announcement, it was pretty much more of the same, as there only a few selective highlight moments from this week's show.

WWE did announce that six NXT superstars would be called up to the main roster soon, and they also revealed Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn would be returning from injury very soon too.

They also gave a strong outing to a lot of their babyface superstars this week, and they also gave the women's roster a full hour for them to run a Gauntlet match for a title shot at the end of the show.

However, many WWE fans don't buy into what Vince said at the start of Raw this week, as they know that despite their criticism, nothing has changed and nothing is going to change.

It's quite clear that a major push for the women's division is coming for The Showcase of the Immortals, but the rest of the show needs some love too, and that's where WWE has been sloppy in their booking over the past couple of months.

Fingers crossed, WWE proves everyone wrong over the next couple of months as we end 2018 and enter 2019 and produce a great product on both shows ahead of WrestleMania season.
