Derek Chisora took a break from the intense build-up to his rematch with Dillian Whyte by making a £500 bet that somebody couldn’t do the same box jump as him. This Saturday, Chisora takes on Whyte in a rematch just over two years since they last met in the ring. That fight was not only dubbed as one of the fights of 2016, but one of the best heavyweight fights ever. There is some clear bad blood between both Whyte and Chisora, and the build-up to both fights has shown that. Both fighters will be absolutely desperate to win the bout, as they headline the Sky Box Office pay-per-view, unlike last time when they were fighting on Anthony Joshua’s undercard.Whyte came out on top when they met two years ago, but after a victory against Carlos Takam and a change in manager to David Haye, Chisora is confident he can defeat the odds and beat his fellow compatriot. One man who couldn’t defeat the odds, however, was the person who bet that he could complete the same box jump as Chisora. After seeing Chisora complete the jump, he claimed he could do the same, and challenged the fighter to a £500 bet.Chisora was happy to take the bet, telling him he only had one try, and if he didn’t make it he owed him £500.

“Well you made it look so easy that I’m actually feeling very confident right now,” he said to Chisora.

But his confidence was shattered as he failed to make the jump, leading to laughter in the room.

Almost making the jump, he fell just as he tried to keep his balance.

“Good try,” Chisora said after he came close to making the jump. He claimed he had one foot up, but Chisora replied saying, “You had one foot up? That’s not enough for 500.”
