Social media was buzzing over the weekend once the WWE announced that Vince McMahon would be returning to Raw following TLC and he was going to 'shake things up'.

Raw has been on the slide for the past month or so and fans have taken to Twitter and other social media platforms in their droves to complain.

The lazy, illogical booking pushed fans to the brink and Vince appeared on Raw to address the situation.

Surprisingly, he called on his son Shane and daughter Stephanie, as well as son-in-law Triple H to help him explain that they would all be presiding over Raw and SmackDown for the foreseeable future.

Whilst a four-person team doesn't make a lot of sense, it certainly is unprecedented.

Of course, this all meant that Baron Corbin's days as the general manager of Raw are numbered, something made official by his defeat to Braun Strowman at TLC anyway.

The Lone Wolf wanted to make his case on Monday Night Raw regardless and he attempted to reason with the McMahons.

If you were watching on television, there was a break as Corbin entered the ring and tried to talk to the WWE hierarchy, but the company have released footage of what happened during the commercial break.

While it was entertaining to see the McMahons united on TV and Corbin struggle with the crowd's noise, it didn't make too much sense.

The McMahons - Stephanie in particular - all admitted they hadn't been giving the fans the best product they possibly could recently, and yet the fans booed Corbin out of the building mercilessly.

Everyone is aware that Corbin is only doing what Vince McMahon booked, right?

Anyway, the crowd ate up the segment and booed so much that Corbin wasn't able to talk, which was certainly fun to watch. After this feel-good Raw, where does the Red Brand go from here?
