If you're an avid fan of WWE's third brand - NXT - you'll know about the huge amount of talent that it possesses.

The main goal is to perform on Raw and SmackDown week in, week out though, no matter how much some might say the booking and matches seem to be better on Wednesday nights.

One man who has stood out as being unique though in a crowded roster is Velveteen Dream.

After placing ninth in the reality series Tough Enough, Dream, real name Patrick Clark, impressed enough to be offered a developmental deal and spent time trying to work a character.

And he finally came up trumps with Velveteen Dream last summer, and has been nothing but superb ever since.

In a bold move this past August at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV, Dream displayed the message 'Call me up Vince' on his tights, clearly wanting Vince McMahon to bring him up to the main roster.

It was a brave move but not successful, instead he was rewarded with a NXT Championship match at the next special event, and when he wasn't successful, many expected him to be a part of the next group of roster call-ups.

Velveteen Dream is reportedly in hot water with WWE officials for tweets sent during Raw this past Monday.

But as seen from this weeks episode of Raw, Dream is not a part of the next batch of main roster moves, the only male single stars moving up are Lars Sullivan and EC3.

This led to Dream pulling a stunt on Twitter that according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, as per Ringside News, landed him in hot water with WWE officials.

Said tweets have since been deleted, but you can see one of them that was screenshotted below.

One of Velveteen Dreams tweets calling for WWE fans to spam the official Twitter account for his call-up.

Other tweets stated '#CallDREAMUp, SPAM @wwe @wwenxt And let’s see if they’re really listening!!' and perhaps the one that got him in trouble, stating;

“RAW
SmackDown
NXT
NXTUK
Seasame Street
Doesn’t matter,
if UR entertaining ur entertaining.
I don’t need writers and I don’t need a lot of time. A superstar should bleed through ur TV. And not when someone’s producing it.
Give Me The Red Light ?
And It’s #DREAMOn
Any Night".

It remains to be seen whether or not Dream makes it to the main roster anytime soon, the fact that he hasn't appeared on any NXT tapings since TakeOver last month hints he was primed for a call-up but WWE potentially pulled the plug.

And his little tweet-storm will have done him no favours in the eyes of the McMahons, no matter how talented he is.
