Is another Green day possible?

For a man who has received so much criticism in the past few months, he is vital to West Ham at the moment. Playing every game, he is a shining light for West Ham’s survival hopes. The former England number 1 was heavily criticised in the media for months after his less than impressive World Cup.

His excellent streak began back in September during the Hammers' first and only win of the season against Tottenham Hotspur. He showed the press that he wasn’t willing to give in to all this pressure. Ever since, he has been very impressive and in many cases, secured a point for West Ham.

Most recently, in Saturday’s fixture against Blackpool, he pulled off numerous saves to stop Blackpool taking the lead. So why is it just now we realise how important he is? The mystery is yet to be resolved.

Looking to the game against Liverpool, what can we look forward to? I would imagine it will be a very attacking game with both sides looking for three points. But Liverpool will be missing some of their best players, including Steven Gerrard.

It’s very easy to be critical towards the team and assuming the Hammers will be “hammered” tomorrow. But if they can perform anywhere near the same way they did against Spurs and Arsenal, three points are in every way possible.

Bring on the Rds! And whatever they have to offer us, we will see them and raise it. Our winning run is bound to start at some stage, why not now? The fans have been promised so much by the management, hopefully those will be delivered.

Let’s try to forget about the past few games and look forward to a battle!
