A controversial late penalty from Ian Henderson gave Colchester a dramatic 3-2 win over Hartlepool.
Henderson blasted home in stoppage time after referee Oliver Langford ruled Peter Hartley had handled inside the area.
Pools went ahead in the 28th minute through Paul Murray, whose fierce left-foot strike from 25 yards flew in after Anthony Wordsworth had only partially cleared Sam Collins' throw.
Keeper Jake Kean denied Henderson before the break before the Us got back on level terms 12 minutes after half-time when Andrew Bond equalised with a deflected 25-yard shot.
And three minutes later, Kayode Odejayi followed up to score from close range after Kean had only parried Magnus Okuonghae's 30-yard effort.
Brian Wilson cleared James Brown's shot off the line before Evan Horwood equalised with three minutes to go with a 20-yard free-kick.
However, Henderson struck home a stoppage-time penalty to leave Pools livid.
