By Cristiano Ronaldo's incredibly high standards, his performance against AS Roma wasn't a memorable one.
Having made such a blistering start to life with Juventus, any game where he doesn't find the net is always a disappointing one and Ronaldo won't be remembering the display in a hurry.
The star on the night was actually his strike partner Mario Manduzkic - with whom Ronaldo has great chemistry - as he scored the winning goal on 35 minutes.
The Croatian hasn't always been the first pick up front at Juventus, but nine goals in 19 appearances this season shows things are beginning to change.
And speaking on his strikers during the post-match interviews, Massimiliano Allegri explained to the press: "The game was pretty even and Olsen did a good job against us. We didn't give up much but Roma did well on the night.
Juventus 1-0 AS Roma
"Dybala? He did well, no complaints here. Mandzukic? He is amazing, I am so happy to have a player like him in my team. Ronaldo? He might rest against Atalanta.
"I think we were a little too backed up but we defended well. Attack? I have so many options but it is a good problem to have."
Meanwhile, Calciomercato essentially gave Mandzukic their Man of the Match nod and Ronaldo was given an unusually low rating of 6.5.
Ronaldo's angry reaction to miss
Things could have been so much different if Ronaldo had shown his usual ruthlessness in front of goal, however, with a major opportunity presenting itself.
It's not a moment that the 33-year-old will want to look back on, but his reaction was just about as Ronaldo as you can possibly get.
Having forced a save from Robin Olsen with his original effort, Ronaldo missed the target on the rebound with Bryan Cristante putting him under pressure.
It was his reaction that screamed Ronaldo, though. Check it out down below:
Ronaldo holds himself to such high standards, that it's no surprise he was so angry himself.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner quickly took his anger out on the post and delivered some animated expressions and shouts to match.
Besides, it says everything about Ronaldo's brilliance that going a game without a goal is so bizarre and his elite attitude is summed up by his frustration.
The clip might remind fans of a few Jamie Vardy moments over the years, with the Leicester City man having a similar trait of reacting angrily to misses.
Vardy remarkably decided to two-foot the post against Southampton in April and has been seen punching himself in the face before.
Ronaldo wasn't quite as extreme with his own reaction but when you're as good as him, any missed chance is cause for lamentation.
