For many, Saturday night was all about a thrilling rematch between Dillian Whyte and Dereck Chisora. The pair clashed in a main event slot at the O2 Arena, meeting for the first time since their 2016 bout on the Joshua-Molina undercard.Whyte repeated his victory two years ago with a devastating 11th-round knockout, despite Chisora leading on two of the three judges' scorecards. The night was notable for another all-British contest, however, as David Price and Tom Little faced off against each other in the evening's other heavyweight bout. Both fighters went into the fight burdened by consecutive defeats, with Price suffering an injury-induced withdrawal midway through his meeting with WBA champion Sergey Kuzmin in September.Fans were ready for the fight to go the distance, with the pair closely matched on paper. However, after Price landed a couple of his trademark right hooks in the third round, Little began to wobble in the fourth, and referee Kieran McCann decided to halt the clash, a decision that sparked fierce backlash. While on the back foot, it looked unlikely that Little would suffer a knockout so early, and McCann has been hit with accusations of not giving the 31-year-old a fair chance, in a fight of pivotal importance to both men's future careers. This was certainly the view taken by experienced heavyweight boxer commentator Beadybea, who reacted to the stoppage on Twitter. He posted a clip of the moment the bout was stopped, with the caption: ''Earlier on David Price got the 4th round stoppage over Tom Little. The referee should’ve given an experienced fighter like Little a chance with only a few seconds of the round left.''There were only 20 seconds of the round remaining, and the clip showcased Little's obvious frustration as he argued with McCann over the refusal to let him move into the fifth round.Former IBF and WBA title-holder Paulie Malignaggi, who was covering the event for Sky Sports, sympathised with Little, disputing the call to hand Price a victory.''In this fight, everything’s on the line. If he wins this fight, it changes his career. His career’s on the line.

“If we stop a fight every time somebody’s hurt, we’re not gonna see any fights!”

Price himself claimed that he had dominated his opponent, praising the stoppage by saying: ''I didn't want to see him in a heap on the floor.''

Post-match rumours suggesting that Chisora could now face Price have also been widely circulating.

The 35-year-old Liverpudlian was knocked out by Alexander Povetkin in March, in arguably the biggest fight of his career.
