When Kepa Arrizabalaga became the most expensive goalkeeper when arriving at Chelsea in the summer, pressure undoubtedly built on his shoulders.

The 24-year-old signed for the Blues from Athletic Bilbao for a record fee of £71million and it was questionable as to whether he could live up to his price tag.

It’s safe to say though, he’s very much on the way to proving his worth.

In fact, Kepa has adapted to life in London so quickly, there has been next to no scrutiny surrounding his performances.

The shot-stopper had big boots to fill in Thibaut Courtois who won four titles with Chelsea, including two Premier League winners’ medals.

However, the Spaniard has done well to help the Blues in their quest to return to the top four.

So far this season, Kepa has helped Chelsea to eight clean sheets, three fewer than leaders Liverpool and joint with Man City.

And a video has emerged to show the real impact Kepa is having at Stamford Bridge since his arrival.

Take a look below:

He doesn’t get the praise he deserves, that’s for sure.

He’s already bettered his clean sheet record for last season, only managing seven in his curtain closer campaign in La Liga with Athletic Bilbao.

He’s only going to get better.

Even team-mate Ruben Loftus-Cheek piled the praise on him earlier this month, saying via South London Press: “I have been really impressed with Kepa.”

“He is a lovely lovely guy in and around the training ground.

“He is not the best speaker of English yet but what he is doing on the pitch, making game-changing saves like the ones against Fulham, is what you need.

“When you want to do well in the Premier League, people always say that you need a top keeper.

“He is living up to that at the moment.”
