American professional boxer Jarrell Miller was among those in attendance to watch Dillian Whyte vs Dereck Chisora unfold at the O2 Arena on Saturday and experienced the action from ringside.

Whyte delivered yet another victory against Chisora and ended the grudge by flooring the 34-year-old in the 11th round during the rematch.

Afterwards, heavyweight rival Miller gave his insight into the bout and was particularly critical of Whyte, stating he doesn’t consider him to be anywhere close to ‘world-class’.

“It was an entertaining fight but, for the top-level contender that Whyte claims he is, he looked horrible," the unbeaten Miller told Sky Sports.

“He was losing, he wasn't using his jab after the third round, he was getting hit by good body shots, he was getting clipped by certain shots.

“Chisora was getting hit but he was coming forwards, he was the aggressor.”

Miller asserted that the two-point penalty played on the psyche of ‘Del Boy’ which ultimately aided Whyte in gaining ground as the fight progressed.

“I think the two-point deduction [for fouls by Chisora] was not being fair. It took the concentration away from Chisora, and that's when he got clipped by that left hook. This is boxing, that can happen.

“But Dillian Whyte is claiming something that he is not. He is not world class. Not from what I'm seeing.”

Whyte's other two victories this year also did not impress Miller much either as he added: “Joseph Parker had a bad night, and it still went 12 rounds, and Whyte got hurt. Lucas Browne had two years off, and a beer belly.”

Nicknamed ‘Big Baby’, Miller is in contention to face off against Whyte if the fight with Anthony Joshua doesn’t come to fruition for April 13.

Promoter Eddie Hearn gave a thumbs up from his side to the possibilities of it happening in 2019.

The Matchroom boss said: “I love the [Whyte vs 'Big Baby'] fight because there's serious beef.”
