Some Manchester United fans may have actually felt sorry for Jose Mourinho on Saturday.

Just days after his sacking, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took the same United side and thrashed Cardiff 5-1.

The whole performance and swagger from the visitors during the 90 minutes was like nothing we’ve witnessed under Mourinho in his two-and-a-half years at the club.

The truth is, Mourinho had completely lost the dressing room and that result against Cardiff said more about his reign than anything Solskjaer had done tactically.

This season, the Portuguese had looked a shadow of the manager he used to be.

But football fans can’t forget what Mourinho has achieved in the game.

He’s won league titles in Portugal, England, Italy and Spain, as well as winning the Champions League with two different clubs.

And he hasn’t always been the miserable manager we saw towards the end of his Man Utd spell.

In fact, a video has emerged on YouTube that shows a completely different side to the ‘Special One.’

Titled: “Hate Jose Mourinho? This video will make you the biggest fan of him” the four-minute video shows occasions where Mourinho has acted honorably - such as giving his medals to kids in the crowd or greeting star players with respect like Lionel Messi, Neymar and Mohamed Sarah.

Take a look:

While it may not “make you the biggest fan of him” it may change your opinion on him slightly and remind fans that Mourinho shouldn’t be judged on his final few months at United.

Mourinho's next career move is unknown, though. There doesn't appear to be a chance to make amends in England so a return to Italy or Spain could be on the cards.
