Paul Pogba is beginning to shine under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United, there's no doubt about that.
The Frenchman has been influential in both wins under the new boss including a brace on Tuesday to end a goal doubt that stemmed back to October.
Stats have shown that Pogba is improving under the reign of Solskjaer as he aims to revive his United career.
However, the Frenchman has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford in recent months with his relationship with Jose Mourinho seemingly pushing him closer to the exit.
Real Madrid and Barcelona are two of the names that have been mentioned alongside his former club Juventus.
The links could put his Old Trafford future in doubt.
However, Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp believes that Man United should keep Pogba, telling the Daily Mail: “Is anyone surprised that Paul Pogba looks a different player under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer?
“Pogba has been criticised more than any other this season.
“Some have argued that Manchester United should sell him but there aren’t too many like him.
“The last two games have shown that if you give him the freedom to get forward he will create goals, score them and dictate games.
“United’s next huge clash is Tottenham away on January 13.
“His challenge now is to play this way against the best.”
After the departure of Mourinho, it does seem likely that Pogba will be staying put.
The pair were at the centre of unhealthy arguments on multiple occasions and the Frenchman was also dropped to the bench a few times too.
Under Solskjaer, though, it’s a completely different story.
Of course, United are only two games into the Norwegian’s reign but early signs are showing a change in Pogba’s form.
With two goals to his name under Solskjaer, the midfielder is already one strike away from equalling his tally under Mourinho this season.
Like Redknapp said, his next step is to play like he has been doing against the best.
And if he continues to improve, United would undoubtedly be unwise to let him go.
