Wycombe have signed Dagenham & Redbridge midfielder Stuart Lewis on a month-long loan deal.

The 23-year-old will go straight into the squad to face Torquay on Tuesday and will provide cover during a busy month at Adams Park.

Striker Scott Rendell returns having missed the 2-1 defeat at Port Vale on Saturday to be with his partner following the birth of their son.

Manager Gary Waddock has no fresh injury concerns but may rest Gareth Ainsworth as the veteran struggles to play twice in four days.

Midfielder Scott Davies injured his groin in the recent FA Cup win at Hayes & Yeading and is back with parent club Reading while striker Jon-Paul Pitman is out until next year with a knee injury.

Torquay boss Paul Buckle will welcome Lloyd Macklin back into the squad.

The 22-year-old striker has missed the last three games following his red card for an off-the-ball incident against Oxford at the start of the month.

However, Macklin is likely to have to settle for a place on the bench following his display of petulance in only his second start of the season.

Chris Robertson is a doubt after picking up an injury in training so skipper Lee Mansell is set to continue at full-back.

Ramone Rose appears to have recovered fully from an ankle injury that has kept him on the bench but Danny Senda will once again sit out with a troublesome hamstring.
