The Maurizio Sarri era at Chelsea got off to an incredible start but things have calmed down a bit as we pass the halfway point in the season.
The Blues initially kept the pace with Manchester City and Liverpool but were hit by the inevitable teething issues of bringing in a new manager.
Sarri hasn't quite found a mix of players that suit his style perfectly, with even the best players at the club finding themselves out of their comfort zone.
It's been well publicised that N'golo Kante has been used in a different role this season, and one that doesn't appear to play to his strengths.
And Eden Hazard has spoken out over the last few days about not wanting his role as a false 9 to become a permanent one.
It's clear that changes will need to be made with the personnel at Stamford Bridge - some players will leave and some players will arrive.
Although initial reports of Chelsea's planned dealings are not going down well with fans at all.
German journalist Raphael Honigstein was on Sky Sports' Sunday Supplement this week where he explained that the Blues are on the verge of completing a deal for Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic.
"My understanding is that Chelsea are the only team that have made a firm offer at the moment," he said. "Dortmund are looking to see if there are other offers coming in as you would, but it is kind of agreed that the player will move in the summer definitely because he still has a year to run on his contract."
"As I understand it, he's going to Chelsea," added the Daily Mail's Martin Samuel.
That's all well and good but Honigstein also reported some news that is worrying Chelsea fans in Callum Hudson-Odoi looking like a good bet to join Bayern Munich.
"There's been a lot of clubs interested in him and he's made so much progress," said Honigstein. "His stock has risen to the point...where Bayern are interested in him.
"What I think was only a theoretical possibility six months ago has become very realistic and very doable because both sides now see the benefit when it wasn't as clear before.
"It reflects a little bit worryingly for Sarri and for Chelsea that they don't rate him as highly as some of the other clubs showing interest do."
The prospect of selling Hudson-Odoi to sign Pulisic has not gone down well at all among Chelsea fans who have taken to Twitter to voice their disapproval.

Chelsea fans may have to put a lot of trust in Sarri and the club on this one - and they better hope they've got it right.
