What a difference a chance of management can make.Manchester United, hopeless for much of the season under Jose Mourinho, have been transformed since Old Gunnar Solskjaer took the reins at Old Trafford earlier this month. They hammered Cardiff City 5-1 in their opening game under the former United striker and then secured a comfortable 3-1 win against Huddersfield Town four days later. The Red Devils were back in action again on Sunday afternoon, against Bournemouth, and needed just five minutes to register their ninth goal under Solskjaer’s interim tenure.Marcus Rashford produced one of the best solo assists of the season, setting up Paul Pogba for a close-range tap-in.Rashford roasted Nathan Ake and then Diego Rica - bamboozling the Spaniard with a cheeky little flip-flap - before firing the ball across the face of goal.It was a wonderful piece of individual skill from the 21-year-old, who form has been excellent in recent weeks. If you haven’t seen Rashford’s assist yet, then you’re in for a proper treat.Watch it here…

Rashford has the No. 10 on his back, but that was like watching a young Cristiano Ronaldo.

Many football fans made the same point on social media…

Meanwhile, Ian Wright posted the following tweet...

Victory today would leave United just three points behind fifth-placed Arsenal, who were hammered 5-1 by league-leaders Liverpool on Saturday.

But they would remain eight points behind Chelsea, who stay fourth in the table thanks to a hard-fought 1-0 win over Crystal Palace earlier on Sunday.

A top-four finish looked beyond United’s reach when Solskjaer agreed to become the club’s temporary manager.

But if they continue playing like this, then anything is possible.
