It's certainly been an interesting year for the England team, who went from treating the World Cup as a training exercise to potentially winning it in the space of a month.Few gave Gareth Southgate's young team a chance in Russia but their inexperience appeared to help them, if anything, as they pushed towards the semi-final stage.England had the second-youngest squad at the tournament - just marginally older than Nigeria's - and the excitement for the future is naturally very high. And it's only increased since, as England tackled the UEFA Nations League by introducing more young talent. The likes of Ben Chilwell, James Maddison, Demarai Gray, and Mason Mount have all earned call-ups to the England squad over the course of the season. But the most exciting talent of them all is Jadon Sancho. The winger took an enormous risk to leave Manchester City in 2017 to join Borussia Dortmund, making him one of the very few young English players to try their luck abroad.18 month later, it's safe to say that Sancho made an inspired decision, breaking into the Dortmund first-team this season and forcing his way into the starting XI.Sancho has bagged seven goals as well as eight assists so far this season and has been a key part of why Dortmund top the Bundesliga.BT Sport have showcased the teenager's fantastic 2018 with a video of his highlights this season - and it couldn't be more clear that he's going to be a fantastic player.Check out the video below:

How many teenagers can boast a highlight package like that right now?

Sancho is establishing himself as one of the best dribblers around while also adding goals and assists - it's no wonder that he's being linked with massive moves back to England.

From what we can see, though, maybe he should stick around Dortmund for a little while - they're turning him into a truly fantastic player.
