It's widely regarded that John Cena is one of the best, if not, the best superstar the WWE has ever had as he was the face of the company for over a decade before slipping into a more part-time role.
With Cena making his return to Monday Night Raw this week, WWE has been posting many social media posts about the 16-time world champion, looking back on some of the biggest moments from his career.
One of these social media posts looked at the five greatest rivals The Leader of the Cenation has ever had throughout his WWE career, but surprisingly, two big superstars were left off the list.
WWE posted the image of Cena's five greatest rivals, revealing The Rock, Batista, Brock Lesnar, Edge, and of course, longtime rival Randy Orton.
While the list constructed by the WWE is a pretty solid one, not all fans were happy with some of the names included and some of the names left out.
In the comments section of the posts, the WWE Universe named a few superstars that should have been included in the post instead of some of the stars that were featured.
Some of the superstars mentioned by the fans include Dolph Ziggler, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, AJ Styles, and Kurt Angle. However, the two biggest omissions from the list, that were also mentioned by the fans, have to be The Miz and CM Punk.
The Miz and Cena have been on and off feuding in the WWE for several years now, providing entertainment for many fans not just through their fantastic work in the ring, but on the mic as well.
As for Punk, his current broken down relationship with the WWE is obviously the main reason why he isn't featured, as his Summer of Punk feud with Cena is arguably the best rivalry WWE has produced in the past decade.
As for the order of WWE's list, some might question Lesnar's placement on the list at third, as they may value Cena's rivalries with Batista and The Rock as greater, but there's no doubt that Orton deserves to be number one after all the times the two have competed against one another.
