Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's instant success at Manchester United continued in the FA Cup third-round on Saturday afternoon.

After four Premier League wins in a row since taking over from Jose Mourinho, the Norwegian manager's heavily-rotated side beat Reading 2-0 at Old Trafford.

Juan Mata and Romelu Lukaku got the goals, with Solskjaer winning all five of his games in charge by at least two goals.

How times have changed at the Theatre of Dreams.

So many players appear to be benefitting from Solskjaer's change of attitude, none more so than left-back Luke Shaw.

The former Southampton man has looked back to his formidable best, showcasing his exciting attacking flair on a much more consistent basis.

Mourinho was a regular critic of Shaw and it seemed as if he was destined to leave the club sooner rather than later - despite signing a new deal back in October.

During Mourinho's final days, the ex-manager and Shaw fell out once again and The Sun have revealed just how serious things got.

They report that the England international actually had a 'for sale' sign outside his mansion in Cheshire.

However, since the arrival of Solskjaer, that sign has now come down and it looks as if his long-term future is certainly with the Red Devils.

A source told the paper: “It’s a beautiful home and attracted a lot of interest from potential buyers.

“It’s always unsettling trying to sell a home and a few neighbours were surprised that Luke had put it up for sale and thought it indicated he wasn’t as happy at Old Trafford as he had claimed.

“But now Mourinho has left and been replaced by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, it’s no longer for sale.”

Shaw recently signed a new contract at United which will earn him around £190,000-a-week and at just 23, the club could secured their main left-back for the next decade.

Can Shaw emulate the likes of Dennis Irwin and Patrice Evra?
