After Chelsea secured a deal to bring Christian Pulisic to the club next summer, it seems there is even more concern surrounding the future of Eden Hazard.Hazard’s future at Stamford Bridge has been constantly discussed for a while and it doesn’t seem to be going away. One of the reasons of Hazard wanting a move is trophies. It looks to be the second consecutive year that Chelsea haven’t come close to competing for the title, while they’re currently playing Europa League football.Hazard deserves better than that. But trophies may not be the only reason Hazard wants to leave the club. That’s because many Chelsea fans believe that Marcos Alonso may also be a reason. Two clips have emerged of Hazard losing his patience with Chelsea’s left-back during their 1-0 Carabao Cup semi-final first-leg loss to Spurs. The most notable occasion came in the second-half when Alonso dribbled past Hazard with the ball before passing to him when he was surrounded by opponents.Hazard was fouled but reacted angrily to his teammate.Take a look:

It was just one example of the many times Hazard lost his cool with Alonso and it was something Chelsea fans picked up on straight away.

Hazard’s current deal expires in 2020 and Maurizio Sarri recent admitted that it’s time to sort out his future.

“It’s time to decide,” Sarri said. “We have to solve this problem if we want to programme the future.”

It was put to Sarri that the club could not do anything if Hazard would not decide. “I don’t [agree],” the manager said. “The club can decide for him.”

So, should Chelsea decide to sell him? “I don’t know,” Sarri said. “But it’s right that the club knows the future and has the chance to programme the future.”
