It wasn't quite a re-run of 'the fight of the century,' but Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao were reunited in Los Angeles last night.Whilst Pacquiao was a guest at the LA Clippers' Filipino Guest Night, and Mayweather was taking up his usual court-side seat at the Staples Centre, the Clippers ran out 128-109 winners over the Charlotte Hornets. But the match was far from the talking point of the night for most boxing fans.Whereas the Clippers went fourth in the Western Conference with a 24-16 record, whilst on his lap of the court, 40-year-old Pacquiao waltzed over to undefeated Mayweather. The two shared a warm, smiley embrace and a handshake whilst the watching crowd whipped out their smart phones in awe.Two boxing greats were acknowledging each other and interacting with each other in front of the basketball fans. However, whilst the eight-division World Champion went out of his way to embrace 41-year-old Mayweather, the five-division World Champion remained rooted to his seat with a snack and a drink.Because of his actions, some fans weren't impressed with 'Money', who beat Pacquiao by an unanimous decision in that infamous fight on May 2, 2015.

Here's what some of the fans had to say regarding their embrace.

Whether he was right or wrong to remain seated, it was a sight many boxing fans relished.

In the boxing world, it was was the year of the heavyweight division in 2018, dominated by the likes of Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder, Joseph Parker, Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte.

However, 2019 could see the rematch of Floyd vs Manny.

The exchange between the pair, who were ranked number one and three pound-for-pound fighters in the world when they clashed in 2015, started their negotiations for the first bout after a meeting at an NBA match in Miami.

Will this encounter spark Mayweather vs Pacquiao 2? Time will tell...
