Tyson Fury tells Deontay Wilder “don’t s*** yourself” as the pair look set for a rematch this year as negotiations take place. In what felt like a loss for the ‘Gypsy King’, many thought he had done enough to beat the undefeated WBC champion Wilder. However, Wilder’s two knockdowns managed to keep the belt and record in-tact.It was Fury’s return from the dead in the 12th that earned him the hearts of millions of boxing fans.In the previous fight, Fury’s jab was slick and he was in the best shape of his career as he dominated the majority of the encounter.Wilder made the mistake of trying to out-box the unorthodox fighter, and from the get-go, the defending champ struggled with Fury’s reach and quality.Fans could argue that when Wilder showed us what he was about in the 12th, then maybe he could’ve finished Fury earlier on in the fight. His reputation for his swinging right hooks was only seen in the last round, which inevitably knocked the 6”9 Brit down.Prior to the fight, Fury suffered with serious mental health issues which led to drug and alcohol addiction. Many say his remarkable comeback should’ve been capped off with the belt round his waist, but that wait continues.Fury’s promoter Frank Warren has confirmed that negotiations are going well as both camps are looking for a return fight in early 2019 and Fury has wasted no time getting back into the gym.In his first interview of 2019, Wilder was the only name on the former heavyweight champion's mind.He funnily looked down the camera and had a message for the ‘Bronze Bomber’, as he told BT Sport: “I’m ready to fight. Wilder, let’s get the fight made, don’t s*** yourself now mate!”Fury admitted: “I’m just maintaining my fitness really. I’m [as] fit now as I was then, same kind of thing.”

However, as the heavyweight division hits 2019, it is clear that Deontay Wilder wants a shot at current WBO, IBF and WBA champion Anthony Joshua as he looks for his next big pay day.

Joshua has also admitted he wants to fight Wilder to unify the division as the American, who nearly lost to Fury, will not want to lose the opportunity to fight Joshua.

Therefore, the ball is potentially in the American’s hands as both Brits want his belt and a big decision needs to be made in 2019.
