After a busy festive period of Premier League football, plenty of Fantasy Football players have picked up big points as games came thick and fast.

This weekend sees a return to normality, with all 20 teams featuring on Gameweek 22.

There are a number of crunch fixtures, including Tottenham vs Manchester United, West Ham vs Arsenal and Manchester City vs Wolves.

As always, there's a chance for more fantasy points to be gained, and of course, lost too.

With that in mind, we're focusing on the players who could potentially flop this weekend and picking out five who should be dropped this week.

1) Alexis Sanchez

Following United's resurgence under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, many fantasy owners have added a few big names back into their squads.

The likes of Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez have all been popular picks, but fantasy players should think carefully about using the Chilean in their teams.

Sanchez has returned to the fold under Solskjaer and has featured in United's last two games - but even against Reading and Newcastle, he failed to score.

In fact, he's netted just once all season - and also registered just three assists.

United's face a tough test away to Spurs this weekend, and with the hosts favoured, it's unlikely Solskjaer's team will be scoring too many goals - and it's even harder to see Sanchez contributing.

2) Leroy Sane

Although the red half of Manchester has been struggling this season, the blue half certainly hasn't been.

However, more recently, City's two wingers have been putting up similar numbers to Sanchez.

Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane have just one goal between them in four league matches and a large number of fantasy players have already dropped one or the other.

Of course, Pep Guardiola's side will always score goals, but as Sane is one of the most expensive buys in fantasy football, players can't risk seeing him misfire again on Monday night.

There's also a chance the German could be rested against Wolves, and with so many other players picking up more fantasy points recently, it might be best to swap Sane out now.

3) Jorginho

Chelsea fans were very excited when Jorginho's move from Napoli was confirmed - and rightly so.

The midfielder was a key part of new boss Maurizio Sarri's style of football in Italy. But since making the move to England, he's struggled to adapt.

The knock on effect of that, of course, is that he's picking up very few points on the fantasy football pitch.

Jorginho really is the Premier League's pass master - he's made 1896 of them so far this season - which is over 100 more than his closest challenger, Aymeric Laporte.

But, despite playing a huge number of passes, Chelsea's midfielder hasn't directly set up a single goal. Not one. He even has fewer assists than City's goalkeeper Ederson.

Obviously, completing simple passes doesn't earn a player many fantasy points, while scoring and assisting does.

If you haven't already dropped Jorginho from your team, now would be a good time, because judging by his performances so far, it could be a long time before he registers an actual assist.

4) Aleksandar Mitrovic

For a team that are desperately fighting relegation, Fulham actually have a top striker at Craven Cottage in Aleksandar Mitrovic.

The Serb has eight goals and two assists in 21 games. However, his form has dropped recently, as he's scored just once in his last eight appearances.

In fact, the striker also missed a penalty against League Two side Oldham in the FA Cup last weekend, as Fulham were embarrassingly beaten at home.

Their opponents on Saturday will offer a much tougher test too, as the Whites visit Burnley.

Although Mitrovic was viewed as a safe and cheap option for fantasy managers at the start of the season, his current form is so poor, that it's surely time for him to be dropped immediately.

5) Marko Arnautovic

West Ham's Marko Arnautovic is another forward that fantasy players have turned to for a cheap alternative to the likes of Harry Kane, Firmino or Sergio Aguero.

And actually, his recent form is pretty good, with two goals against Brighton earlier this month.

However, what's happening off the pitch this month could seriously impact how many points the Austrian picks up.

Arnautovic has been the subject of a big-money bid from the Chinese Super League - and many papers report that he's asking the Hammers to accept it.

However, his club are adamant that he's not for sale and they fully expect him to honour his contract.

But with Arnautovic pushing for a move away, there's a chance that manager Manuel Pellegrini could drop him to the bench amid this chaos.

And even if the striker does feature, we've seen plenty of players purposely under-perform to force their big move.

We're not saying that Arnautovic will definitely act like that, but it's always a possibility - so it might be best to swap him now.

Of course, no one knows for certain who's going to star or flop for their side this weekend. But these five players may pose the biggest risk to Fantasy Football managers on Gameweek 22.
