The future is looking a lot brighter at Manchester United now that Jose Mourinho is gone. With club legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer currently in charge, the Red Devils are back to playing attacking football and look like a more united side.Solskjaer has also sought to reintroduce the idea of developing young talent, which Mourinho pretty much abolished during his time at the club.During last weekend's 2-0 win over Reading in the FA Cup, for example, Solskjaer handed 19-year-old academy product Tahith Chong his debut for United.Chong, who has been a star for the Under-23 side this season, played just over 25 minutes and produced some promising moments.Solskjaer praised the teenager for his performance in his post-match interview and was impressed by his defensive work rate."He had two or three really good moments, as you do when you're young," said Solskjaer of Chong, per Manchester Evening News. "You don't run the game as a first performance for a 19-year-old."But he got the crowd going and has shown one or two glimpses of what he can do. He has in training anyway. And the game wasn't won, it was 2-0 and was still go out there and perform."It's not like it was 4-0 and it's just a party, so he did well defensively as well and I think he'll remember this for a long, long time."Chong travelled to Dubai with United's first team for some warm weather training earlier this week but returned for the Under-23's trip to Fulham on Friday night.United lost the game 3-1, but Chong produced yet another standout display as he scored a stunning 25-yard free-kick. Check out his highlights and goal below.

How's that for technique? Chong is only 19 and has plenty of time to improve, but he's already one of the best free-kick takers United have.

And it's clear to see why fans are so excited by the Dutchman, whose pace and direct style of play will give Premier League defenders nightmares in the very near future.

Here's how United supporters reacted to Chong's performance against Fulham.
