As soon as the WrestleMania 34 event was in the books, WWE fans and sources managed to put two and two together towards what could be an amazing WrestleMania 35 encounter in 2019.

Charlotte Flair defeated Asuka to end her unbeaten streak, while Ronda Rousey stole the show as she teamed up with Kurt Angle to take on and defeat Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in her in-ring debut.

WRESTLEMANIA 35

Since then, both women have impressed as it looked more and more likely that The Queen and The Baddest Woman on the Planet could create history and feature in the main event of The Grandest Stage of Them All.

However, a superb 2018 for Becky Lynch has thrown a spanner into the works, especially since she helped create plenty of hype for a Survivor Series clash against Rousey which never came to fruition.

So, it comes as no surprise that for the last few weeks, new rumours have been circulating online regarding the trio of talented women.

It's been suggested that Rousey, Flair and Lynch will meet in a triple threat match at WrestleMania 35, in the main event slot.

This week, Charlotte was in the UK as the WWE unveiled their new Performance Center in North London as well as promoting NXT TakeOver: Blackpool.

Sports Matters TV recently caught up with Flair to discuss the popular rumour to catch her reaction.

Although Charlotte denied knowing who the opponent or opponents could be, she did admit that it's now time for women to main event WWE's greatest show.

TRIPLE THREAT

According to Ringside News, she said: "I definitely think it’s time for the females to headline.

"I don’t know who my opponents or opponent would be, but I believe in my heart it’s my destiny to be in the main event.

"I think everything that I’ve done to get to where I am today I’m not going to slow down or stop.”

It was also reported by the same source not too long ago that the WWE had already made Charlotte aware of the fact that she had a WrestleMania 35 main event match secured.

All three women have created plenty of waves over the past year, so it would be a genuine shame should one of them miss out to make it a one on one match.

Even though Rousey is on Monday Night RAW and both Flair and Lynch are on SmackDown LIVE, the WWE will surely have plans to build towards a triple threat - if that's what they intend on doing.
