Manchester United claimed their biggest scalp of the season so far at Wembley yesterday evening.

After four Premier League wins on the spin against sides in the bottom-half of the table, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side beat Tottenham 1-0 in the national stadium.

Marcus Rashford scored the only goal of an enthralling game, which saw David de Gea turn in a memorable virtuoso performance.

The Spanish goalkeeper made 11 saves, thwarting Harry Kane and Dele Alli on numerous occasions.

United were a constant threat on the break in the first-half and showed some serious defensive resilience in the second.

Phil Jones had one of his better games in the Red Devils jersey, but it was Victor Lindelof who stole the headlines once again.

The Swedish centre-back has shown this season that he could be the defender United have been crying out for.

Fans were drooling over his successful battle with Kane and one moment from Lindelof in particular really caught their attention.

Sky Sports cameras picked up Swede's reaction to Christian Eriksen shanking a free-kick wide in the 67th minute.

Some serious passion from Lindelof.

The mood throughout the squad just seems so different now under Solskjaer and a top four finish is certainly on the cards again.

As for Lindelof, he has well and truly won over the United faithful.

United's next Premier League game pits them against Brighton at Old Trafford and Solskjaer's side find themselves in a very convenient position.

Arsenal host Chelsea on Saturday, meaning that if United beat the Seagulls, they will either leapfrog the Gunners or narrow the gap to the Blues in fourth place.

If the two London sides draw, Solskjaer's side will go above Arsenal and will be just four points behind Chelsea.

And guess who's doing punditry for beIN Sports for the London derby? Only Jose Mourinho.
