Finn Balor is one of the most beloved superstars in the WWE today, and it seems as though he wants to make 2019 the biggest year of his career to date.

The Demon King has already grabbed the new year with two hands as he wrestled on the first ever NXT UK TakeOver event over the weekend in Blackpool as a surprise opponent for Jordan Devlin.

Now, the former Universal Champion is looking to take things one step further by calling out a WWE legend for a match.

On his Instagram account, Balor posted an edited photo of himself performing his Coupe de Grace finisher on The Undertaker lying still in the middle of the ring.

The photo was accompanied by a simple caption which reads: "Time to sit up...."

This isn't the only time which The Demon King has shown his desire to have a match with The Deadman. In fact, it wasn't the only time over the past week.

During an interview with Inside the Ropes at the reveal of the new WWE UK Performance Center, Balor revealed his desire to have a WrestleMania match with The Undertaker, as well as Brock Lesnar.

He said when asked about his dream WrestleMania match: "Obviously, the kid Finn Balor wants to face the Undertaker.

"And obviously time is running out with Undertaker, obviously who knows when his last match is gonna be or what his last match will be. But with what's on the line with The Beast, [Brock Lesnar], and how long is he gonna be around, we don't know. Honestly, I'd take either one."

As a result of his strong performance at the first-ever NXT UK TakeOver event, Balor is in line for a huge push on Monday Night Raw, according to Byran Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Radio via Ringside News.

However, Alvarez also noted that this push might not be at the same levels as it was before. Fingers crossed that this isn't the cause and The Demon King is given another chance to go after the Universal title soon.
