Change was always to be expected at Manchester United following Jose Mourinho's sacking and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer being hired as interim manager last month. But what no one saw coming was the baby-faced assassin winning six out of six games, beating Tottenham 1-0 at Wembley and hauling United back into contention for the top four.United have been fantastic since Solskjaer took over and individually the players have all improved in some way.Marcus Rashford has found a new lease of life up front, Paul Pogba can't stop scoring and assisting, and David de Gea has rediscovered his best form.Defensively United have dramatically improved, too, having recorded three clean sheets in a row and only conceded three goals since Mourinho left.Victor Lindelof has particularly impressed at the back by playing a full 90 minutes in five out of six games managed by Solskjaer.Signed from Benfica in 2017 for £31m, Lindelof's time at United has been plagued with costly mistakes and poor performances. But with Solskjaer now in charge and showing faith in the 24-year-old Swede, Lindelof is back to playing his best football."He's a cultured, European centre back who gets on the ball, passes it really well, knows when to quicken things up," said Solskjaer of Lindelof following the Bournemouth win."It is different to play in England and you have time to adapt."Lindelof produced another solid display during Sunday's victory against Spurs and there was one moment in the second half where he reminded fans of Nemanja Vidic. When the hosts looked like they were about to break from a United corner, Lindelof rushed back to make a crunching last-ditch tackle on Harry Winks.

Vidic once produced a similar tackle on Kyle Walker - who was at Tottenham at the time - in 2013 and now United fans are sharing a video comparing the two challenges.

It's like a carbon copy. Lindelof is gradually living up to his potential at United and if he uses Vidic as a role model, he won't go far wrong.
