If WWE fans were still waiting on Vince McMahon and The McMahon Family to deliver on the promise of change in the company, they certainly might be satisfied with what happened on Monday Night Raw this week.Several changes happened on the red brand this week, including the debuts of Nikki Cross, EC3, Lacey Evans, and Heavy Machinery, Bobby Lashley winning the Intercontinental Championship, and the reveal of the Women's Tag Team Championships. However, the biggest change came in the Universal Championship picture, as Braun Strowman will no longer be facing Brock Lesnar for the title at the Royal Rumble at Chase Field on January 27.Strowman's actions of destroying Vince's limo lead to a fatal four-way between Finn Balor, John Cena, Baron Corbin, and Drew McIntyre being booked for Raw's main event to decide a new challenger for The Beast at the Rumble.WWE fans were pleased to see that Balor hit the Coup de Grace on Cena and will now go on to face Lesnar for the Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble later this month.

While 2018 was a bit of a down year for The Demon King in the WWE, he's already kicked off 2019 to a strong start.

Balor started off the year making a surprise appearance at the first-ever NXT UK TakeOver event in Blackpool last weekend, wrestling and winning against Jordan Delvin.

Now, The Demon King will have a chance to win back the Universal Championship which he never lost almost two years ago.

Balor famously vacated the title after winning it against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam in 2016 due to injury. He was the first superstar ever to win a world title on their main roster pay-per-view debut.

He now looks stronger than ever with the potential to step into the shoes of Raw's top babyface, shoes which WWE have been struggling to fill since Roman Reigns announced he would need to take time away from the business to receive leukaemia treatment.

Cena even gave Balor his seal of approval after the main event, and judging by how things have already gone for him in 2019, this could be the year of The Demon King in the WWE.
