WWE fans loved John Cena's appreciation towards Finn Balor on Raw

WWE fans are loving John Cena's current run with the company as he's going out of his way to put other superstars over on the roster.

Cena began his current run on the roster by taking part in a promo with Becky Lynch and teaming up with The Man in a mixed tag team match on SmackDown Live.

He put Lynch over in the process by allowing her to throw him out of the ring during their match against Zelina Vega and Andrade 'Cien' Almas on WWE's blue brand and execute the pin to win the clash.

The 16-time world champion then followed this up this past weekend by appearing as Juan Cena or Juanito alongside Lucha House Party during a backstage segment at a WWE live event, bringing attention to the stable.

Alongside these two examples, Cena put another superstar over last night on Monday Night Raw when he competed against Finn Balor in the main event of the show.

Cena and Balor wrestled against Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin in a fatal four-way that would determine who would go on to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble on January 27.

The Demon King would end up winning the match after he performed his Coup de Grace finisher on The Leader of the Cenation in the middle of the ring to win via pinfall.

After the match, Cena showed his appreciation to Balor by saying he believes in him just like the rest of the WWE Universe does, before shaking his hand and parading him to the live crowd.

WWE loved how much respect the 16-time world champion showed to the former Universal Champion at this moment, and many are pleased as well with the stars he has put over in his recent return.

Balor has already started off the year strong by making a surprise appearance at the first-ever NXT UK TakeOver event in Blackpool last weekend, wrestling and winning against Jordan Delvin.

Finn Balor pinned John Cena on Raw to earn a Universal title shot at the Royal Rumble

Now with a chance to win back the Universal Championship which he never lost almost two years ago, 2019 could finally be the year of The Demon King in the WWE, especially if he beats The Beast at the Royal Rumble.

As for Cena at the Royal Rumble, he should have a big spot in the Rumble match thanks to his name value, but due to his participation in projects outside of the WWE, he is unlikely to win.
