Cristiano Ronaldo turns 34 next month, which sadly means we probably don’t have much longer before the great man retires.

It might be another three, four, five, maybe even six years away yet - but the Juventus and Portugal star is now approaching the winter of his career, whether we like it or not.

When Ronaldo does finally hang up his boots, he’ll be forever remembered as one of the game’s all-time greats.

Ronaldo has scaled heights during his illustrious career that only a handful of legends before him have managed to reach.

He’s not finished yet, of course - he’s now fully focused on conquering Serie A, helping Juve win some major honours in the process - but we should all enjoy this phenomenally talented and driven footballer while we still can.

Ronaldo is a player who has always relished the big occasions. From the start, he’s so often produced the goods when it mattered most.

He’s also relished coming up against - and usually getting the better of - other big-name footballers.

A new video has been uploaded to YouTube this week, proving this to be the case.

Titled ‘Why Are Great Players Afraid of Cristiano Ronaldo’, it shows the five-time Ballon d’Or winner embarrassing his fellow superstars in various matches throughout his career.

These players include Dani Alves, Gerard Pique, Paolo Maldini, Kaka, Xavi and Javier Mascherano. Heck, even Lionel Messi features.

So, make yourself a hot drink, put your feet up and watch 10 minutes of Ronaldo at his very best against some of the greats of the current and previous generations.

Within the first day of being uploaded to YouTube, the video had already amassed 50,000 views.

It seems Ronaldo fans can’t get enough of his genius.

The world-class forward is currently bossing it in Serie A, where he leads the top goalscorer charts at the half-way point of the season.

Juventus v UC Sampdoria - Serie A

Ronaldo has scored 14 league goals this term and could easily finish his debut Serie A campaign with 30. That’ll surely be his aim.

Barring an unexpected capitulation during the second half of the season, Ronaldo will also end his first campaign with the Old Lady with a Serie A winners’ medal.

Juve currently sit nine points above second-placed Napoli at the top of the table.

They are also safely though to the Champions League knockout rounds, where they will play Atletico Madrid in the last 16.
