Former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has rejected an offer to fight against Anthony Joshua on April 13.

This leaves Joshua, who currently holds three of the four major belts, without an opponent for his next fight, which is scheduled to be at Wembley.

Fury’s promoter Frank Warren has rejected the all-British clash as it is being reported as a 60/40 split in Joshua’s favour.

“We’ve never had that offer, no offer has been sent to me,” Warren told the Daily Telegraph, per The Mirror.

“Hearn sent Tyson an offer over the weekend, but it certainly wasn’t 60/40. It was quite a derisory offer and we haven’t responded to it.

“He would need 50/50, as simple as that.”

A rematch with Deontay Wilder is more likely after their classic bout back in December, which ended in a controversial draw, with many believing the Brit had done enough to steal the belt off of the American.

The second fight between them is likely to happen in either May or June of this year in Las Vegas, where surely this time, one fighter will lose their unbeaten record.

That leaves Joshua with a rematch against Dillian Whyte, whom he knocked out after seven rounds in 2015, at Wembley or Jarrell Miller in New York in the summer.

Fury told BT Sport: “I’ve already beaten Wilder so that’s one down, and I’ll do the same to Joshua if given the chance.

“But I don’t think it’s going to happen, sorry to disappoint the sports fans.

“Joshua, even with two hammers in each hand, could never beat Tyson Fury – and they know it!

“It’s a business as well, so they’re not going to take the fight, simple as.

“They may say they’re going to take the fight, they might talk about it, but then they’ll fight somebody else.

“But that fight ain’t going to happen. I’m not holding my breath at all.”
