Cris Cyborg is on the re-building process after her devastating knockout loss to Amanda Nunes last month at UFC 232.

Not only did she lose her Featherweight championship, but also lost a little bit of dignity in the way that Nunes landed so many clean shots to her face.

It took less than a minute for Nunes to become a two-weight world champion, and to inflict just the second loss of Cyborg's career.

Cyborg had held the title for a year and a half, defeating Tonya Evinger, Holly Holm and Yana Kunitskaya before being dethroned.

The women's Featherweight division is a relatively new concept, with Germaine de Randamie being the first title holder in February 2017.

As we know though with the rumours of the men's Flyweight division, the UFC can cut a complete weight class out of the equation if they want to.

Cyborg doesn't want that to happen in regards to her 145 pound category, and thinks the UFC would be majorly losing out should they do that, and has sent a warning to Dana White - as they'd lose her as well.

”I don’t know what they will do moving forward,” Cyborg told Brazilian outlet PVT, per MMAFighting.

“I will keep fighting no matter where I am. My fans love watching my fights. If they decide to remove my division, and remove me from the UFC and let me go, I think the UFC would be losing with that, and the promotion that signs me would be winning.

"My fans follow me wherever I go. I’m very thankful because my fans are with me no matter if I win or lose.”

It's true that Cyborg is very popular globally, and it's a shame that she never got to fight Ronda Rousey when both were at the peak of their popularity and powers.

But with just one fight left on her deal, it's more than likely Cyborg will face someone like Megan Anderson rather than a rematch with Nunes, who looks like she's going to defend her Bantamweight belt next.
