If the latest reports are to be believed, then Aaron Ramsey's long-rumoured move to Juventus is a done-deal.

With the end of his Arsenal contract fast approaching, the Welshman has been keen to enter the next chapter of his career with a significantly sweeter deal - whether that be in England or elsewhere.

Despite being linked with a slew of Premier League clubs, Ramsey appears to be embracing the challenge of playing in a different league.

Fellow countryman, Gareth Bale, famously made the switch to Real Madrid for a then-world record fee in 2013. And many have suggested Bale's success in La Liga has spurred Ramsey to follow a similar path.

The Welshman's current contract at the Emirates reportedly sees him pocket £110,000 per week. Meanwhile, Mesut Ozil is believed to be earning the most for his contributions: his deal worth an estimated £350,000 per week.

Previous reports suggested Ramsey had been offered £140,000 per week by the Turin club. However, new details show that Juve have improved their offer significantly.

According to the Times, Ramsey will join Juventus next season on a four-year contract worth £300,000 per week.

Not bad, eh?

To put that into perspective, if Arsenal were to offer him a similar sum, Ramsey would become the third-highest earner in the Premier League, behind only Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.

That's right, folks. Aaron Ramsey could be on more money than Paul Pogba next season.

Back in October, the Arsenal midfielder revealed he thought he had agreed on a new contract with the club - only for them to later withdraw their offer.

He said: "Everything was going great with the club. We thought we were in a position where we had agreed on a deal but that's no longer the case.

"Am I disappointed? That's a decision they have made and things happen in football and you just have to get on with it."

It's safe to say Ramsey will be in greater spirits now.
