Following a 2-0 win against Chelsea on Saturday night, Arsenal are now just three points behind the top-four.The Gunners secured a comfortable victory thanks to goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Laurent Koscielny and it's fair to say that they outclassed their rivals by far. Although the goalscorers will get most of the plaudits, there was another Arsenal player who really stood out during the game - and that was Aaron Ramsey. Despite already agreeing to join Juventus next summer, the Welshman clearly remains committed to his London club and put in a brilliant performance at the Emirates. He played a vital role in midfield and marked Jorginho out of the game, which practically stopped Chelsea from ticking over for 90 minutes. And after another impressive display for manager Unai Emery, many Arsenal fans will once again be left wondering why Ramsey has been allowed to leave for free next summer. In fact, it's not just supporters questioning that decision - as club legend Martin Keown doesn't understand it either.

A SICKENING DECISION

Following Saturday's match, the former Gunners defender admitted that he finds it 'sickening' that Ramsey will be leaving for free.

"It’s the saddest thing of all really, how well he executed the plan today both in possession and out of possession,” he said BT Sport, talking about Ramsey's impact.

“He’s obviously doing that to such an extent that [Mesut] Ozil can’t get near the team. But Ramsey’s not going to be part of their future and I find that sad.

"I find it a little bit sickening that he’s going to be leaving, they’re trying to make progress and one player today who was singly so important won’t be a part of Arsenal’s future."

Undoubtedly, plenty of Arsenal fans will share the same opinion as Keown, but sadly, there's nothing they can do about the situation.

Ramsey will be leaving Arsenal next summer and Juventus have surely sorted themselves a bargain by sorting out his pre-contract agreement last week.
